GEMOTION only purchases diamonds that are conflict-free and makes every effort to prevent conflict diamonds — diamonds mined in war zones and sold to finance violence — from entering its inventory. Clients can rest assured that every GEMOTION diamond is sourced from legitimate and ethical channels. All diamonds offered through GEMOTION are accompanied by a Kimberley Process (KP) certificate, confirming that they originate from ethical sources not involved in financing conflict. In other words, all GEMOTION diamonds are certified as conflict-free.
Established in 2003, the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) was created by governments, non-governmental organizations, and diamond industry bodies to prevent conflict diamonds from entering the legitimate global diamond supply chain. Together with the Clean Diamond Trade Act of 2003, the Kimberley Process helped establish the foundations of a global diamond market committed to ethical sourcing and transparency. Today, KP members represent approximately 99.8% of the world’s rough diamond production. The Kimberley Process includes 54 participants representing 81 countries, with the European Union and its Member States counted as a single participant.

GEMOTION works exclusively with diamond suppliers that comply with the Kimberley Process and its system of warranties. This industry-wide system operates through documented invoices covering the sale of rough diamonds, polished diamonds, and diamond jewelry. These requirements apply to all rough diamonds mined after December 31, 2002, as well as all products manufactured from them.
